Ghost in the hotel SERIOUSLY!!

ok.... listen to this:
Me, my mom, my nephew, and my little nephew, are all sleeping. Its the nick hotel so it has two room (one for kids and for for adults) i was sleeping with my mom while my nephews were sleeping in the other room. So in the middle of the night, my mom hears foot steps (i was out cold snoaring) and the door to our room slams shut. The morning we told my nephew wat happened (who he is 13) and hes says to us he heard it too and he saw a shadow in his room.. THEN we started walking in the hotel and there was a poisnes snake.. coincidence?
